Why ADUs?
ADU stands for "Accessory Dwelling Unit" and is also commonly called a casita, guest house, pool house, back house, granny flat, etc. ADUs are an accessible form of affordable infill housing!

Multi-generational Housing
Oftentimes casitas are used for extended family in order to age in place longer, or provide a safe place to land. From grandmas to nephews, brothers to kids home from college, there are many versions of multi-generational living that an ADU can help to support.

City of Tucson support
The city of Tucson has made it easier to build ADUs. As of January 2022, ADUs are permitted in zones that allow residential use. In March 2023, the city committed to reducing required impact fees for ADUs.

Income property
ADUs can be used for family or a tenant, either has potential to create income. You may even want to consider a Housing Choice Voucher tenant- you can interview your tenant and the rent is guaranteed!

Unstoppable Construction, LLC is an Arizona licensed general contractor (ROC324504), an owner's rep, and a passionate proponent of affordable and supportive housing in Tucson.
Amanda has over 18 years experience in construction & development, and has helped produce over 1400 units of affordable housing. She has also worked in Development and leadership for two California-based steel modular companies, growing the companies into multimillion dollar revenues. She's spoken at events, panels, and on podcasts and is considered a leading expert in the field of modular construction.
Jonathan leads field operations as needed. With over 40 years in construction coming up through the trades in Tucson, he has worked on both historic and leading edge projects in the community. He has a vast knowledge of building code, means and methods, and is a master executor. His industry expertise is leveraged for our clients on a daily basis.
